Technical and organisational measures
Encryption
All connections use TLS. Phone scans via QR code are additionally end-to-end encrypted.
No document storage
PDFs, texts and AI results are neither stored nor logged. We only count pages and analyses.
Secure sign-in
Passwords are stored with modern hashing, sessions use protected cookies, and sign-in attempts are rate limited.
Bot protection
Sign-up and the free trial are protected with Cloudflare Turnstile, without picture puzzles.
No tracking in the tool
Statistics and advertising cookies exist only on the website and only with your consent, never in the tool.
Swiss contract partner
Agenturen Mani, Cham (Zug). Swiss law applies, the place of jurisdiction is Switzerland.

Is my sensitive business data safe?
Yes. Your PDFs are never stored on our servers. Splitting happens right in your browser. For detection, the pages are sent encrypted to the AI in the EU and discarded afterwards. Your documents are not used to train AI models.
Who has access to my documents?
Detection is fully automatic; nobody at PDF Splitter sees your documents. They are only processed for the analysis and not kept. We store your account and the number of pages processed, for billing.
Where is my data processed?
The AI analysis runs in data centres in the EU, and your account data is in the EU as well. We send e-mails via Hostpoint in Switzerland. Your contract partner is Agenturen Mani in Cham (Zug), Switzerland. All service providers are listed in the privacy policy.
Do I get a data processing agreement?
Yes. For all plans we provide a data processing agreement under the Swiss FADP and the GDPR. Accounting firms need it for their clients’ data.
